My First Roll of Film
Before sending the film to be developed, I was genuinely worried that nothing would turn out the way I imagined.
But when I received the scans, I felt so happy and relieved — out of 36 frames only a few didn’t work out.
For a first experience, it honestly felt almost magical.
And the feeling from those photos was completely different from digital photography.
The grain, the colors, the light, the softness of the images — everything felt more alive somehow.
Not perfect.
But real.
Why Film Feels So Special
Film photography teaches you to slow down.
You start paying more attention to light, small details, emotions and the moment itself.
Every frame becomes more thoughtful because you only have a limited number of shots.
And I think that’s why film photos feel so emotional and timeless.
They remind me of memories from childhood, old family albums and moments that stay warm in your heart for years.
Now You Can Book a Film Photoshoot
After this experience, I realized I want to keep exploring film photography — and share it with my clients too.
Now you can book:
- film wedding photography
- love story sessions on film
- family film sessions
- portrait sessions on film
I especially love combining digital and film photography together during one shoot.
Digital captures every important moment, while film adds atmosphere, softness and that nostalgic feeling that is impossible to fully recreate.
Photography That Feels Like Memory
I think film reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
Not because everything has to be technically perfect.
But because photographs should make you feel something.
And film does that in the most beautiful way 🤍
